The Crown season 3 review, Culture Whisper
The brightest jewels in Peter Morgan’s lauded and ludicrously expensive Netflix series ($13 million per episode) are its immersive grey areas. On the one hand, The Crown doesn't idolise the Windsors like seasoned obsessives or tabloid newspapers; there’s plenty to dislike behind the pompously guarded doors of Buckingham Palace.
Morgan shows the royals as humans first and images second: they're not the aristocratic angels idealised by fanatics.
